MX Promotion is a joint venture between Eric ‘The Kid’ Geboers, Hens N.V. and Rene Vermeiren. After two successful organizations at the legendary ‘Citadelle de Namur’ venue, the event moved towards the motocross epicenter of Europe: Lommel.
Different from the previous years, MX Promotion is the sole rights holder for the Motocross Grand Prix in Belgium.
President of the club, Rene Vermeiren, leads a strong group of motivated event professionals that want to make this Motocross GP stand out from the pack. The organigram looks like this:
To make this organization more than ‘just’ a GP, MX Promotion combines the GP-circus with an amateur-race called ‘MX Rookie’ which tries to close the gap between professional and amateur motocross racing. On top of this, the Motorcross Racing Convention creates a forum for motocross enthusiasts, who want to learn more about the envolved legislations, medically sound training, motor-tuning, ... Adding these items to the program, the event grows into a week (hence ‘WEEK 31’) of pure motocross pleasure.
