MX Rookie

MX Rookie is a multi day Motocross event, held during the school holidays, therefore this event is specifically designed for young MX-riders and amateur MX-riders from all over Europe.

Week 31 will be a week of Motocross promotion and is a joint venture between all the amateur federations in Belgium/Flanders (FAM) and the professional Federation VMBB. Approved by the UEM, this organisation provides the opportunity for everybody to participate at a Grand-Prix event, in front of all major industrial brands that are active in MX1 & MX2 WGP racing.

The amateur competition is based on qualification races on Wednesday and Thursday at. A specially built Q-circuit just outside of the Grand-Prix area. The finals will take place on friday on the GP circuit, in front of the GP industry, and victory ceremony will be on the GP podium.

Amateur riders from all over Europe (and abroad) will race in different categories formed by age and bike size.

The active search for future talent will be mainly focussed on the MX Rookie class.

Younger riders (under 15) will be able to follow a specially made training program, under supervision of Mx initiators and supervised by a group of former MX Champions (Stefan Everts, Joel Smets, Marnicq Bervoets, Eric Geboers)
